The Peninsula Aquatics Center is here to work with your budding swimmers! We specialize in offering a range of infant, pre-school and school age classes to accommodate all abilities and skills. Our pools and technology are optimized to ensure all kids have the opportunity to learn and become confident in the water.

Perfect for infants and toddlers (6 months to 2 years), this class fosters water familiarity through playful activities with a caregiver. Instructors guide parents in helping their child develop comfort with submersion and basic water movements. These sessions strengthen bonds while building a foundation for future swimming skills.
2-3yr
Ages
Pre-School 1
Designed for children ages 2-3 new to swimming, this level introduces basic water safety and skills in a fun environment. Kids learn to blow bubbles, float with assistance, and kick while building confidence. Small group settings ensure personalized attention for young learners.
3-5yr

For preschoolers ready to advance, this level focuses on independent floating, gliding, and basic arm movements. Children practice breath control and begin coordinated swimming motions. Instructors emphasize safety and fun to keep young swimmers engaged.

Learn to Swim 1
Ideal for beginners this level teaches fundamental skills like breath control, floating, and kicking without support. Students learn to enter and exit the water safely and begin basic front crawl movements. The focus is on building comfort and confidence in the pool.

Learn to Swim 2
Swimmers progress to independent swimming, practicing front and back glides with coordinated arm and leg actions. This level introduces rhythmic breathing and basic freestyle technique. Students also explore elementary backstroke to build versatility.

This level enhances stroke development, focusing on freestyle and backstroke proficiency over longer distances. Swimmers learn to tread water and are introduced to breaststroke fundamentals. Emphasis is placed on building endurance and refining technique.

Designed for experienced swimmers, this class focuses on perfecting all four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
